Lowest-supported candidates are removed from the bottom up.

The audience votes again.

Voters can keep their pick or choose someone new in the next round.

A majority winner emerges.

The process continues until one choice receives more than half the vote.

No round removes more than one-third of the total vote support.

Ties can result in a revote, so no candidate is unfairly dropped.
